Owen recieved his first services from the Cleveland Sight Center when he was three weeks old. His condition (primary aphakia) is congenital and we knew early on we needed help. Brenda, his early intervention specialist, came to our home and started us on a path that has had a profound impact on our lives. The services he recieved prepared him to begin his formal education and taught us the best ways to support him. Their assistance continued as he transitioned into preschool. Kristen spoke with us and attends his IEP meetings as an advocate. Because of the help we got from the CSC, Owen is thriving and has exceeded everyones expectations. Every member of the the blind and low vision community deserves the chance to have access to the services they require to live their best lives. Please join us in supporting this amazing organization that does so much good for the BLV community, especially our Owen!
