KEITH NAGY, TEAM MYA
This August 3rd-4th I will be attempting to run one mile every hour for 24 consecutive hours in the Anytime Fitness 24 in 24 Challenge.
My cousin's son had cancer as a child and benefited from Make A Wish so I supported Make A Wish for many years. A Special Wish Foundation, which provides similar opportunities for kids, is local to Cleveland and 100% of the funds raised support local kids with life threatening illnesses. I try to give back to this community in many ways and A Special Wish is one of the most important ways I can help. The Special Wish people are a fantastic group. The 24 in 24 event is fun and challenging and the amount of money raised to support these special kids is incredible. Thank you to everyone who supports this great organization.
On September 12th 2013, ten-month-old Myalee went into her first surgery to remove a protruding lump on the left side of her neck that turned out to be a malignant tumor. She began her first of four rounds of four different types of chemo in November 2013. All in all, she had a total of seven surgeries. Myalee greets each day with a big smile, she is a happy, loving, imaginative, spunky and bossy little girl.
Will you support my efforts and help me grant Mya’s Big Wish?
