Our son, Lincoln, was born with a clubfoot in 2014. We live in the Seattle area and were fortunate enough to have Seattle Children's here to get our son treatment through the Ponseti Method. This method can change a child's life, literally taking a disabling condition and correcting it to allow the child full ability to walk, run, play, and live as if he or she were never born with clubfoot. Unfortunately, many children around the world do not have access to this treatment. We're supporting MiracleFeet, an organization that is bringing the Ponseti Method to low resource areas around the world to change children's lives.
Here's a video about MiracleFeet
On June 3rd (World Clubfoot Day), my wife and I are going to walk/run 4 miles with our son, Lincoln. (He might be relaxing with his sister in the stroller for most of it). Our son is 4 years old this year, and therefore we're trying to fund-raise $1000, which according to MiracleFeet would help bring treatment to four children.
Please support our son Lincoln as we do our best to RUN DOWN clubfoot and join MiracleFeet and Global Clubfoot Initiative in hopes to end the disability caused by clubfoot around the world by 2030. Thank you!
