Hi, my name is Sara Grove and I am 15 years old. I have been playing lacrosse for 6 — almost 7 — years and have been a goalie for almost 5. This will be my 3rd year playing for Lacrosse for Wishes Southern Ohio. This summer lacrosse program gives my teammates and me a great team to play for and a good cause too. Make-A-Wish grants wishes for children with life threatening illnesses. The goal of LFWSO is to raise enough money for each team to be able to grant a wish to a local child from Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana. Last year, across 3 teams, we were able to raise enough money to grant the wishes of 3 children in the program. In the pictures above, you can see Wyatt and Alex, two of the kids that we helped grant wishes for last year. I'd really like to be able to grant even more wishes this year. The purpose of this lacrosse team, as the coaches always say, is not only to grow in our skill on the field, but to also grow as people off the field. I really love being able to help out with the Make-A-Wish program and it feels great to do so. I would like to ask you to help out by donating to our fundraiser and to help me reach my goal of $1,000. Thank you so much!
