Imagine a World where ALL youth have equal opportunities for recreation, fitness, and friendship—regardless of their abilities.
KEEN’s Mission - Empower youth with disabilities by providing free, non-competitive one-to-one programs of exercise, fitness and fun, led by volunteer coaches.
KEEN’s Vision - Foster confidence, self-esteem and community inclusion for youth with disabilities; strengthen communities through education of volunteers; and provide families with respite and a supportive network.
At KEEN New York, we work with the local disability community - boys and girls - and show them that they can be Athletes.
We run. We jump. We swim. We play. We do our best to keep up with our Athletes. (They have lots of energy). We laugh. Then we laugh harder. We give our Athletes - children with autism and cerebral palsy, children who use wheelchairs or are non-verbal - the chance to be kids.
Established in 2008, KEEN New York has and continues to grow by leaps and bounds. Today, we’re proud to be one of the biggest supporters of New York’s young disability community.
Please support us in this year's TCS New York City Marathon as we raise funds to expand our programs and ensure every child with a disability has access to our programs.
