Justin is a young man, diagnosed with Down Syndrome that loves to run. As his medical conditions that are associated with his dianosis have worsened, he has transitioned his love for running into love of being a rider/teammate. He loves to be a part of something that is bigger than himself, he is amazing at spreading joy and awareness of different abilities. Justin is at his best when a part of team. Whether it is conquering 5K's, 10k's, half marathons, Ragnar Relay's, or full marathons, Justin shines his brightest when on the road with his teammates.
Justin is in dire need of a new chair to support his running goals. Because of his hypotonia, Justin required a larger chair to fit his stature and could no longer roll in his smaller Freedom chair. Last year, with the big heart he has, Justin donated his personal chair to a family he felt the chair could benefit more and is now trying to raise the funding to purchase a personal chair that would support him and his running career.
Please consider donating to support Justin in his mission to purchase his own axiom chariot, in addition to raising funds to support his journey to roll in the next MCM 2019. This young man puts his whole heart into these adventures, so I am not about to tell him he has set his goals too high. Please consider donating (any amount helps) and/or sharing our mission to help us achieve what some believe to be impossible. We thank you all for the encouragement and support, as none of this would be possible without you. #TeamJustin #TogetherWeShall #AinsleysAngels #MCM2019 #AxiomChair
In addition to ensuring everyone can experience endurance events, Ainsley's Angels of America aims to build awareness about America's special needs community through inclusion in all aspects of life. WE are super excited to execute our mission at the Marine Corps Marathon as an official charity partner this October!
