Jordan graduated with her M.S. in Communication Sciences & Disorders from the MGH Institute of Health Professions in 2019. Since then, she has gone on to work as a Speech Language Pathologist CF at a private practice that emphasizes inter-professional collaboration in a sensory-based environment to better support client’s ability to communicate. Jordan strives to provide play-based, child led therapy to improve overall access to communication. MGHIHP helped Jordan identify this area of passion and develop the skills required to provide high quality care. Many of these skills were fostered at MGHIHP’s IMPACT center, which allows students to practice in a structured and collaborative environment. Jordan is excited to continue to support the work of the IMPACT center. Jordan grew up in Winthrop MA and has been an avid runner since a young age. She has attended the marathon most of her life as an enthusiastic spectator, and even was a BAA finish line volunteer. It has been a life long dream of hers to run the Boston Marathon.
Since 2011 Team IHP has raised more than $140,000 for several funds at MGH Institute of Health Professions. These funds raised through the Marathon program have a tremendous impact at the Institute, supporting our students with scholarships, and advancing their educational experience.
