On Sunday, October 27, 2019, Team Hughes will once again be supporting the National Pancreas Foundation Team running through the streets of Washington, DC to raise money for cutting-edge research for those suffering from pancreatitis and pancreatic cancer, advocating for new and better therapies, and providing support and education for patients, caregivers, and health care professionals.
Dave is taking on the Marine Corps Marathon - an awesome event but no matter how much running someone does, 26.2miles is still! a massive challenge and a step up once again!
Rach will also be in DC supporting Dave and all the Team Pancreas runners and is also running the Great South Run to help raise money & awareness.
Dave is a survivor of several Severe Acute Pancreatitis attacks and so this continues to be a cause close to our hearts. With Dave having almost lost his life to Pancreatitis, we both know just how vital it is to fund research & support to help those who affected by Pancreatitis and Pancreatic Cancer.
The NPF is the only foundation dedicated to patients who are suffering from all forms of pancreas disease – pediatric pancreatitis, acute pancreatitis, chronic pancreatitis and pancreatic cancer.
Thank you for supporting our mission and helping provide hope for those with pancreas disease.
