Chesapeake Region Accessible Boating (CRAB) is a local non-profit that has been providing sailing experiences for people with physical and cognitive disabilities, and children from at risk communities for 29 years. I have been an active fundraiser since 2013, a volunteer since 2016 and a part-time Fleet Director since 2017. We serve the needs of many local and veteran's organizations as well as individual families. Contact me for more information about the program, or visit our website at www.crabsailing.org to learn about the mission. Each year we put together a crew to sail our boat "Flagfest" in the CRAB Cup, as well as the other two charity races, the Leukemia Cup and the Hospice Cup. These 3 races make up the Triple Crown of Charity racing series. In 2019 and 2020 we were fortunate to win the series because of the generous contributions of our extended friends and family and the good work of the Flagfest crew. We were not able to race the Leukemia Cup this year, but are still fundraising for that event, and CRAB Cup. Flagfest and her crew will once again need your generous support to fund these great programs with your tax deductible donations. CRAB Cup will sail on August 21st this year. Please consider sharing this link to your social network and, if you are able, make a donation to support our team and CRAB. Thank You!
