Chesapeake Region Accessible Boating (CRAB) is a local non-profit that has been providing sailing experiences for people with physical and cognitive disabilities, and children from at risk communities for 29 years. I have been an active fundraiser since 2013, a volunteer since 2016 and a part-time Fleet Director since 2017. We serve the needs of many local and veteran's organizations as well as individual families. Contact me for more information about the program, or visit our website at www.crabsailing.org to learn about the mission. Each year we put together a crew to sail our boat "Flagfest" in the CRAB Cup, as well as the other two charity races, the Leukemia Cup and the Hospice Cup. These 3 races make up the Triple Crown of Charity racing series. In 2019 we were fortunate to win the series because of the generous contributions of our extended friends and family and the good work of the Flagfest crew. We hope to defend the Triple Crown this year with another strong performance. Flagfest and her crew will do everything we can to prevail on the water, but will once again need your generous support to fund these great programs with your tax deductible donations. CRAB Cup is the first leg of the Triple Crown and will sail on August 15th, with the other 2 races scheduled for September. Please consider sharing this link to your social network and, if you are able, make a donation to support our team and CRAB. Thank You!
