If you know anything about the Dryburgh Family, you know that the arts are very important to us, especially to Cass and Gray! They live to sing, act, and perform on stage and it all began at Facetime Theatre in Phoenixville, PA. This community theater focuses on creating the love of arts in children. They provide affordable acting and musical theater classes, as well as voice and instrument lessons to elementary school age children and up.
We found Facetime in 2016. Cass began taking their musical theater class and then Gray followed. The classes helped them gain confidence and the ability to speak, sing, and dance in front of a live audience. Then Cass and Gray began acting in their productions and creating lasting friendships. Even Drew and I love spending time at the theater to create their sets. Facetime is our home away from home.
To pay the bills Facetime Theatre produces a few adult and junior productions each year. But the bread and butter for this small studio is their summer camps, it's a 3 week intensive that produces a Broadway Quality show for our children ages 5-21.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic Facetime Theatre had to cancel their 2020 summer stage productions. The little theater is working hard to continue providing these programs to our community in a safe manor during these hard times, but they need our help to do it. Please consider donating a few dollars to help them reach their fundraising goal of $50,000 so the doors can stay open and the light turned on!
