CHELSEY KETRING, TEAM CARTER
This August 3rd-4th I will be attempting to run one mile every hour for 24 consecutive hours in the Anytime Fitness 24 in 24 Challenge.
My Why
Hi, I’m Chelsey and on Saturday, August 3rd I will all be attempting to run one mile every hour for 24 consecutive hours. Over the past 10 years I have been diagnosed with 2 autoimmune diseases and faced a long line of health issues including most recently in June of 2019, reactive airway disease. While my health has taken strength to overcome, it is nothing compared to the strength Carter must have every day to stay brave and be a little superhero to himself and everyone around him. Carters spirit is an inspiration to everyone and a reminder to be grateful for each day. I’m running for this amazing little boy who’s struggle doesn’t get to be over after the last lap. Will you help me make Carters dreams come true?

Carter’s Story
“Carter is 5 years old and was diagnosed with Leukemia on July 27, 2018. He has been receiving outpatient treatment for his cancer at Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital for nearly nine months now, and he has remained positive throughout his entire journey. Carter's new normal consists mostly of playing with superhero figures, army guys, and Legos at home with me, his mom, as well as working on kindergarten readiness skills. Carter is simply an amazing, strong, inspiring little man, and he is without doubt my little superhero.
This leads me to why Carter is asking for a travel trailer for his Big Wish! He decided that he wanted to see the world! One day I showed him a travel trailer and explained what it was, and that was it! A travel trailer so he could see the world (or at least a small part of it to start) became his Big Wish!”
- Carters loving Mom! ( a superhero too)
Will you support my efforts and help me grant Carter’s Big Wish?
