TACKLE ALZHEIMER'S WITH ME!
Please join me and my fellow teammates to #tackleALZ! BvB Dallas is a young-professional organization that hosts a powder-puff football game for a day of fun, fellowship, and philanthropy as a way of raising money for Alzheimer's research and awareness.
I play because I have 2 grandparents who have been diagnosed with Alzheimer's and I take the field in honor of them. My Grandma has bravely battled this disease for several years and it is heartbreaking to watch a loved one disappear before your eyes knowing there is nothing you can do to save them. Alzheimer's steals a lot from a person, but Grandma has refused to let it take her grace, witty sense of humor, love for her family, or her beautiful singing voice.
I also play in support of my mom and my aunts who have been constant examples of unconditional love and selfless caregivers for my Grandma.
This year I have set my personal fundraising goal to $1,250 and I need YOUR help to get there! The donation you make today will go towards raising money for Alzheimer's through beneficiaries which include: The Center for Brain Health, The Senior Source, The Alzheimer's Association, and UT Southwestern.
A $25 donation automatically gets you a ticket to game day on Saturday, August 10th at the Cotton Bowl!
