“Libraries allow children to ask questions about the world and find the answers. And the wonderful thing is that once a child learns to use a library, the doors to learning are always open.”
Laura Bush (First Lady, 2001 to 2009).
Thank you for visiting my Brookline Library Foundation fundraising page. I am honored to run the 2020 Boston Marathon with Team Brookline in support of the Brookline Library Foundation. Funds collected by the Foundation have supported innovative programs, books and materials, museum passes, new technology and enhancements to its buildings.
Recent projects include: · Seed contribution to launch the “Idea Space”, Fall 2019 · A major contribution to the Coolidge Corner Renovation · Chromebook laptops available for checkout at all libraries · Digital signage, including the TransitScreen TVs displaying local transportation data · Subscription services like Linda, Hoopla and Ancestry · A redesigned library website · New Teen Room furniture at Brookline Village · Children’s programming at all locations · Purchase of museum passes (used by over 4000 patrons in 2018) · Redesigned outdoor garden space at the Putterham Library.
Thank you for your generosity.
