I am very excited to share with all of you that on April 20, I will be running in the 2020 Boston Marathon! Taking part in Marathon Monday when I attended Boston College was something I looked forward to each year. It was such an incredible experience to cheer on the runners and experience the community of support that surrounds Boston on that day. I am honored to be running this year and especially for a cause I care very deeply about- mental health.
Mental health, though widely stigmatized and often unspoken about, impacts many, if not all of us. I'm running in support of The Brookline Center for Community Mental Health so those that are impacted by mental health can receive the help and support they need. Even the smallest contribution will help those who suffer from mental health, especially those that lack the resources to receive proper care.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and considering a donation! I could not do it without you!!
Team Brookline, the Town of Brookline’s official Boston Marathon team, is a committed group of adult runners who train together for the Boston Marathon while raising funds for five partner charities that play an integral role in strengthening and enriching our community: The Brookline Center for Community Mental Health, Brookline Education Foundation, Brookline Library Foundation, Brookline Symphony Orchestra, and Brookline Teen Center.
