I am thrilled to share that I am running the Boston Marathon as a member of Team Brookline in support of our public education charity. I fundamentally believe in the importance of public education and am proud to use my marathon to help make that possible.
As the product of public schools and as the son of a public school teacher - I have experienced first-hand how important it is to support excellence and equity in public education. In partnership with the Brookline Education Foundation, we can help ensure all students - regardless of their family's income or background - can access the highest quality public education including in-classroom enrichment and extended learning opportunities.
Last year, I was able to see the impact of the Brookline Education Foundation first-hand as Elliott's fourth-grade teacher was able to introduce innovative STEM curriculum to his class and bring real-world applications of engineering and design to an array of students.
Please join me in supporting the Brookline Education Foundation and the opportunity to make innovative, essential learning opportunities available to all students and to show what is possible through public education.
