Mental Health difficulties percolate in our families, among our friends, and at our work. I have had a personal relationship with mental health, which was inspired by a good friend whose actions, leadership, and commitment to destigmatizing mental health connected me with organizations like Active Minds and others.
I am now privledged to work for a company whose main objecive is to combat central nervous system disorders.
With both my personal and professional drive to make an impact on those affected by these disorders, I am running for Team Brookline to provide financial assitance and support to the Brookline Community Mental Health Center. Running for the Brookline Center gives voice to conversations often stigmatized or shamed by society at large.
Those who are challenged by mental health disorders are often are the most vulnerable in our society. I hope to raise $8,000 in support of the Brookline Center so they can continue to provide outstanding care to those suffereing from depression and other metal wellness challenges.
Please help me change the conversation!
