I'm back at it! I've joined up with BvB Dallas again this summer and am ready to TACKLE Alzheimer's disease!
Last summer I set a goal of raising $1,500 for Alzheimer's disease research and care through playing powder-puff football. This summer, I'm reaching for the stars and am coming back with a personal goal of $3,000 by AUGUST 11TH.
In order to hit this goal, I've joined up with 200 other DFW young professionals through the organization, BvB Dallas. We will be holding events throughout the summer in order to raise as much money as possible, with our biggest event, a powder- puff football game at the Cotton Bowl, taking place August 11th.
As an organization, we have a goal of raising $650,000. All the money we raise goes towards the fight against Alzheimer's Disease and is given directly to our beneficiaries: UNT Health Science Center, Center for Brain Health, UT Southwestern, and The Senior Source.
We can't hit our organization goal and I can't hit my personal goal without YOU.
Any donation helps! SO PLEASE, DONATE TODAY. Help us TACKLE Alzheimer's Disease forever.
A $25 donation gets you into the game.
Why I play:
I play for my grandfather who passed away from dementia. I play for my best friend whose grandmother currently is suffering from Alzheimer's Disease. I play for my friends and coworkers who have cared for and who are currently caring for loved ones suffering from Alzheimer's. I play for those who have lost family members and friends to this disease. I play for the staggering 5 million individuals who are currently suffering from this disease and diseases like it. And I play for anyone who has ever watched a loved one forget who they are, due to this disease.
