Hello Family, Friends and Supporters! Dakota, Sammantha and I have decided that this year we are going to honor Brian in a very different way than we ever have before. We are running in the 2019 LA Marathon 5K!!! We will be running in the memory of Los Angeles City Fire Department Helicopter Pilot Brian M Lee. Brian passed away in an aviation accident on Monday, June 9, 2014. Our family was devastated and was changed forever that day. I lost my Soulmate and our very young daughters lost their Daddy. Brian was an incredible man! He loved his daughters with every ounce of his being. He wanted to provide only the very best he possibly could for his family and most importantly for our daughters Dakota, Chloe & Averie (twins) and Sammantha. Brian's career with the LAFD spanned over 25 and a half years as a firefighter, paramedic, then a Fire Helicopter Pilot. Brian sacrificed family & personal time, remained head strong & focused and promoted to LAFD Helicopter Pilot in April of 2012. Brian received his Airman Wings on June 2, 2012! What a proud moment for he and I! This was Brian's dream with his career and to be able to provide THE BEST opportunities in the future for his children! It would only be 2 short years later that we would loose him. Since Brian's passing, the Widows Orphans & Disabled Fireman's Fund has been here for our family as we grieve and heal from our tragic loss. By running in the LA Marathon and raising money for the WODFF, this is one way Dakota, Sammantha and I can give back to this amazing organization, while honoring Brian's memory!!! Please consider donating to this outstanding organization, that is here to help families like ours, who's worst day has sadly come. Your generosity truly makes a difference in a grieving families life. If you are unable to donate, please cheer us on, keep us in your thoughts and say a prayer for us, as we honor our beloved and very deeply missed BLee AKA Daddy.
