Bernardo Karate is proud to participate in it's 2nd Annual Kids Kicking Cancer/Heroes Circle Cardio-a-thon and Kick-a-thon on Saturday, March 2nd, 2019. Giving back to the community is an important aspect and priority of Bernardo Karate. We are very fortunate to have several of our students volunteer their time and talents to a non-profit organization in London, Ontario called Kids Kicking Cancer/Heroes Circle. These martial artists are taking what they have learned in the dojo (for example – breathing, visualization and relaxation techniques) in addition to traditional martial arts moves to help empower children and provide them with a sense of POWER, PEACE & PURPOSE. We all feel very grateful that we can use our martial arts training and help children who are dealing with pain and illness. It is an honor and a privilege to volunteer for this amazing organization. We are very grateful and excited to have like-minded individuals that want to make a difference in our London community. Thank you to all of our students and their families and friends for contributing to this year's event. Our Kick-a-thon and Cardio-a-thon takes place on Saturday, March 2nd, 2019. Our younger students will be dressing up as their favorite Superhero and participate by throwing 1,000 kicks each. They would really appreciate your pledge and support in the Kick-a-thon. Our adults will be participating in a 90 minute Cardio-a-thon. They too would appreciate any donation you can make to our Kids Kicking Cancer/Heroes Circle 2019 campaign. Any amount counts. Your donations buy uniforms and equipment for these amazing Heroes and will help the program expand even further across Canada. Thank you again to everyone for your thoughtful consideration.
