Celebrate my 38TH BIRTHDAY and fourth year on the Lake Erie Ink Board of Directors with us by donating to my favorite youth-serving charity!
Lake Erie Ink: a writing space for youth is a non-profit organization that provides creative expression opportunities and academic support to youth in the Greater Cleveland community. Located in Cleveland Heights, Lake Erie Ink serves 4,000 youth annually from a broad socio-economic, cultural and academic range, using creative writing to increase literacy skills.
Every cent you donate helps Lake Erie Ink reach its annual goal of $12,000, which provides creative writing programs for Greater Cleveland-area youth.
What is the GIANT Bananagrams Tournament?
Lake Erie Ink will bring this love of language and creative word play to its 6th annual GIANT Bananagrams Tournament. Inspired by the fast-paced, Scrabble-like word game, this event requires creative thinking and encourages teamwork and collaboration as groups scramble to be the first to turn their letters into words! This family-friendly event will also include several other popular activities, including our annual Cake Walk, raffles, and prizes!
How I can I support?
1. Consider donating any amount on Crowdrise to help us meet - or better yet, EXCEED - our team goal of $800!
2. Contact your company or organization to donate raffle prizes (email firstname.lastname@example.org for details)
3. Cheer us on and participate in a variety of other fun activities by attending the GIANT Banagrams tourney on March 16, 2019 at Cleveland Heights High School!
Thanks for your support!
