Mikal Brindley Team Ayden! This August 3rd-4th I will be running one mile every hour for 24 consecutive hours for the Anytime Fitness 24 in 24 Challenge!
Why? Why run 24 miles in 24 hours?? Am I a little nuts? These are the questions I have been getting. My anser: The kids I am running for can't do it, I can, why wouldn't I? My story: I am 12 years old. I have been diagnosed with ADHD, OCD, Impulse Disorder, Anxiety, and Tourette Syndrome. I have these, but they don't have me. I am small, but mighty. I was picked on when I was smaller, my mom saw how much it got to me and she put me in sports. Sports helped me to develop my confidence, now there isn't anything I can't do. If I can help a little boy make his wish come true just by running... then run is what I cam going to do.
