All of Team Awesome loves working out at Revolution Indoor Cycling. The workouts are great and founder Julie Guttormson has created a wonderful, supportive community that pushes its members to kick their own asses in all sorts of fitness classes. Now it’s our turn to support to Julie. In 2006, at the age of 31, she suffered a stroke and was lucky to walk away from it. (She didn’t just walk away from it, but swam and rode: Post-stroke Julie did an Ironman triathalon!)
When she founded Revolution in 2012 Julie says she already had the idea of Rock the Ride. “I knew that bringing fun and fitness together are what we do best, and based on my own experience I had a platform to help make a difference in people’s lives right here in our community.” This year is the 4th annual Rock the Ride and all of the money raised goes to benefit stroke and cardiac patient at St. John’s Medical Center. Last year the event raised more than $50,000. This year, we’re excited to help raise even more. And we plan on having tons of fun during the event on March 10. Thanks for any support you can send our team’s way—and to Jackson Hole locals who have suffered from strokes and cardiac events.
