JOHN LANE, TEAM ANDREW
This August 3rd - 4th I will be attempting to run one mile every hour for 24 consecutive hours in the Anytime Fitness 24 in 24 Challenge.
Having the ability to improve the lives of others is a privilege, and one that comes with its own sense of obligation. Acting on these powerful feelings of responsibility is a great way to reinforce my own personal values and feel like I’m living in a way which is true to my own ethical and moral beliefs.
Andrew was diagnosed with a life-threatening neuromuscular condition having no cure, which impacts all muscles from swallowing to breathing to walking. About six months ago, one of his medical professionals made the profound statement, "We have moved past the stage of just trying to keep Andrew alive; now we need to focus on his future." Andrew is truly an amazing little man with such a positive attitude and reminds us to count our blessings every day.
Will you support my efforts and help me grant Andrew’s Big Wish?
