September is National Recovery Month. Join a Walk for Recovery Team!
Your participation in a Walk for Recovery helps create unique opportunities for people in recovery. The funds go to Oregon Recovers which helps fund addiction recovery awareness campaigns and advocacy efforts.
If you are in recovery or have a familiy member or a friend who is in recovery, join my team- Team AMI!
The Eugene event is a 2 mile benefit walk which kicks off with a rally at the Owen Rose Garden and will take participants past many of the touchstone organizations-like the Willamette Family Women's Center, the Jessco Club and the Buckley Detoxification Center. I hope to see you there!
If walking is not your thing, you can always donate and share this post on your social media platforms. I appreciate your support!
The Lane County Addiction Recovery Team is committed to a non-judgmental approach in supporting, advocating and providing hope to those who are recovering from addiction. Our goals include: assisting in reducing barriers to treatment, serving as liaisons between the Department of Human Services and treatment providers and serving those affected by Substance Use Disorder. We believe in meeting people where they are in their path to recovery. This ensures that each individual has the support and help they need along their journey to recovery so they can reach their optimal potential.
