Once again, it's time for the Cleveland Sight Center's annual White Cane Walk. This year's walk will be on Saturday, June 1st at the Sight Center Campus in University Circle. My co-captain, Tom Sawyer and I have donated $100 each which will allow two hours of Orientation and Mobility (O&M) lessons. It might be a lofty goal, but we wish to raise $5,000 which could allow one person with vision loss to become proficient enourgh to cross streets, take the bus system to work and achieve daily activities such as grocery shopping and banking. It would be wonderful if you could match our gift. If not, give what you can as all monies raised will be used to help our current and future clients reach new levels of confidence, overcome challenges and achieve independence.
