My name is Aleesha Denning and I'm extremely excited to have been choosen to represent the TB12 Foundation for the 2020 Boston Marathon.
I'm originally from New Hampshire but for the past 12 years I've lived in Ormond Beach, Florida. I have an amazing boyfriend, Mauro, of 10 years and we have two beautiful children, Ava-7 & Luca- 3. I work as an Infant Survival Swim Instructor at Aqua Journeys Swim School. I have one of the most rewarding jobs in the world, everyday i get to teach babies ages 6 months to 3 yrs old the life saving skills that they need in & around the water. My goal is to end childhood drowning one baby at a time.
I started running competitively in 2014, but only 5k's. A year later I convinced my brother Michael to run his first 5k with me, and ever since then we've been hooked. Over the past 5 yrs I've run 100s of 5ks, 25- Half Marathons and 6- Marathons including 3 of the Abbott Big 6, Chicago, Berlin & NYC. Our goal is to run a marathon on every continent!!
I'd love for you to consider donating to help me reach my fundraising goal! No amount is to small! Thank you in advance!

Helping Athletes Maximize Their Health and Potential – The TB12 Foundation was founded in 2015 by six-time Super Bowl champion New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady. Its mission is to empower athletes everywhere to do what he’s done in his own storied career – keep going despite the odds. We aim to help athletes improve longevity, prevent injury and stay on the field, court, track or course doing what they love better — and for longer. The TB12 Foundation has been able to help at-risk athletes access the practitioners and programming they need — including pliability treatments, functional strength & conditioning, and advice related to nutrition, hydration, and cognitive health — to overcome injuries or obstacles that would otherwise keep them sidelined.
