#ChallengeAccepted In just 94 days I will once again RUCK 26.2 miles in honor and memory of our fallen military and police. Rucking 26.2 miles with 15+lbs on my back... EASY (lie!) Asking for donations .... TOUGH! I only have until March 31st to raise the minimum $450.
Why ruck? Two reasons: To honor my fellow fallen officers and to raise money for the Military Friends Foundation, a nonprofit that provides critical assistance to Massachusetts military families and the families of the fallen in times of need. Having a career in law enforcement and two children in the military - no two things could be closer to my heart.
This year I will once again ruck in memory of Officer Sean Collier (MIT PD- EOW: 4/18/2013), Sgt. Sean Gannon (Yarmouth PD - EOW 4/12/2018), Sgt. Michael Chesna (Weymouth PD- EOW: 7/15/2018) and Officer Ed Ryan (QPD - 6/14/2012). Ed was one of my partners at QPD. He was a veteran and a cop, but more importantly, he was an amazing person 😞.
If everyone reading this gave just $10, there is a great chance I would reach (actually exceed) my goal!!
