Sweet little Chance is 7-years-old and has not had a good life! He needs your help to get well. When Chance came to the rescue he was a matted mess. Grooming him proved to be a task when it was discovered that his skin was literally weeping from skin infections and he there were numerous tumors on his little 17 lb. body and some areas with no hair at all. This is the result of being abandoned or lost and neglected medically! His eyes were filled with debris and severely inflamed, one eyelid has a tumor. We found a number of other tumors (fluid-filled masses/lesions) on his body. So far Chance's veterinarian bills have amounted to almost $400! That is just initially treating his immediate skin infections and treating an ear infection. Chance is getting baths at least every other day for his skin infections with a special shampoo. The additional amount of $1,000 will be for the treatment he still needs. There are 3 surgeries in front of him including dental surgery. Little Chance has about 15-20 lesions that need to be surgically removed from his skin. Right now the skin infections need to be under control before he can receive a massive steroid shot to address the skin itching. Then it will be 30 days before he can even be considered for surgery including on his damaged tooth. He needs your help because he can get better and have a good life in a loving home.
