For the past eight months we have found new ways to keep our dancers dancing, including drive-in performances and virtual events. Our vision has not changed - to connect individuals to great dance nationwide - and though the company looks different right now, we are just as active as ever.
What we’ve been up to:
After a two week hiatus in March to figure out our new normal the company has since been rehearsing in the Arts Hub parking lot, where we also presented two drive-in shows. We have adapted to rehearse masked, six feet apart and on hard concrete in the sun, wind, and cold. We rehearse online via zoom when the weather doesn’t cooperate. 2020 has been an interesting challenge for all. We have learnt a lot and remain optimistic for what 2021 may bring. We hope that you will join us on this journey.
How we’ve been doing it:
Due to limited funding for the arts right now we have relied heavily on the generous support of our donors. This truly is what has kept us going and we thank you immensely. We would love for T2 to be a part of your year-end giving.
Why we need your help:
We need funds for things as simple as dance shoes and costumes suitable for outdoor winter performances. We also need funds for the artists’ salaries and ongoing operating expenses. Our 2021 plans include working with four collaborating artists/companies from three different states, but we can only do this with your support. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation.
Can’t donate? Volunteer instead.
If you can’t make a donation right now but would still like to support T2, consider volunteering. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to volunteer at our winter drive-in performance.
