Centuries of economic challenges in Haiti has resulted in the poorest nation in our Western Hemisphere. Generations of children have suffered and continue to do so. The lack of jobs, inadequate educational services, scarcity of proper healthcare to name a few continue to plague the first Black nation in the Americas. In 1804, slaves on the island revolted and freed themselves from those who kept them in bondage. For that; Haiti paid a terrible price not only from the loss of lives but also through the loss of revenue from trade which paralyzed its economy. From a commercial perspective Haiti was essentially isolated as no colonial power regarded them as equals, Today, we believe that the way out of this poverty is through education. Our organization has been working to help those we support with the tools necessary to succeed. We come along established schools in underprivileged areas to enable them in the work to train a new generation of children. Our organization, “the Children Heritage Foundation” has a vision for a better Haiti where each child has access to an education. We cannot do it alone, breaking down the strongholds of systemic racism call for the involvement of supporters who are interested in making a change in our world both at home and also abroad - especially in a country such as Haiti. Four hours from the U.S. East Coast is a people crying out to break free from the shadows of prejudice that have plagued them for much too long. Where there are children who have the mental capability to excel or do better but lack the very basic opportunities to do so. Please join us and, help us in our efforts to come along each child and their parents who are jobless not because they do not want to work but, simply because there are no job or business opportunities. This fundraising will immediately go to provide the following: • daily lunches to the school children K-12 grades, • pay for their tuition to • efforts to enhance computer literacy to empower the children for our 21st century. Giving them a fighting chance to eventually compete in our new digital world. Thank you for your partnership is making a difference – one child at a time.
