Shrewsbury Youth and Family Services, Inc. (SYFS) is our community's only private, non-profit counseling and social services agency, providing programs, services and trainings that help to strengthen and support youth and families.
SYFS is in financial crisis.
**Please watch the short, important video (above) about the agency's emergent financial concerns and how you can help SYFS.**
Whether it's counseling services through Telehealth, or performing wellness checks for those in distress, SYFS supports everyone.
Due to COVID-19, our annual fundraising gala was canceled - which is one third of our annual operating budget. With schools closed, we have also lost our wraparound counseling funding.
But this money isn't for "extras" and the needs haven't "closed."
This funding is essential to SYFS remaining open to serve.
People are hurting in our communities. At a time of quarantine and pandemic, mental health and assistance needs drastically increase, not decrease.
We are seeing an increase in panic attacks, depression, anxiety and isolation fears. Every population is vulnerable.
Whether it's $25 or $2,000, your gift is appreciated.
Please give now. We need you more than ever.
1. When making a donation, bypass GoFundMe's request for a "tip" by selecting "CUSTOM" in the dropdown and then enter $0 in the box.
2. There are suggested donation amounts in blue squares on the DONATE page, but you can actually enter ANY amount you want to give in the "$" box below the blue suggested amount buttons.
