Help us continue our mission of spreading hope to cancer patients during this time of need.
Cancer doesn't stop for COVID-19, and neither does spreading hope. Every day, our committed staff and volunteers work to support those affected by cancer. Now, they need our help. With our Hope Centers closed since mid-March in both Roselle, IL, and Crown Point, IN, our previously steady base of on-site volunteers has become non-existent. However, our organization is committed to carrying forward with our mission to ensure high-risk, isolated cancer patients across the country continue to receive faith-based hope and support for an entire year through a care package and our Cards of Hope programs.
I received my care package today. I was in tears. So many sweet and thoughtful things in the box; it definitely lifted my spirits. What a wonderful way to help those going through this battle! Thank you so much. God bless you all. ~Erika
We are still shipping care packages weekly. Last year, we had 16,029 volunteer hours to help us ship out 5,396 care packages. Right now we have no volunteers and our revenue is down 25% from budget. If revenue and volunteers continue to drop, these negative circumstances will consequently impact our ability to serve those with cancer as well as our staffing.
We need your help to sustain our efforts during COVID-19. The cost to send a care package and share hope with one cancer patient for an entire year is $60. With your help, we’re seeking to fill 500 cancer patients with hope during this pandemic by raising $30,000.
We prayerfully ask that you join us in supporting our mission. Your gift will help provide immediate financial support so we can purchase and mail care package items and sustain the positions of the incredible hands that make it all happen. Help support our mission and employees so they can eventually return to their work serving our community.
