Help us support our employees and sustain our organization during this time of need.
Every day, our committed employees work to support the community we serve. Now, they need our help. Our organization is committed to ensuring that our employees are able to maintain financial stability and provide day-to-day necessities for their families during the coronavirus crisis.
We kindly ask that you join us in supporting our dedicated employees. Your gift will help provide immediate financial support so they can purchase essential food, medicines, and other supplies. Help keep our employees safe and healthy so they can eventually return to their work serving our community.
We Need Your Help! The events of the last several weeks, which continue to unfold, have caused many changes in all our lives. With schools gone virtual, cities on shelter in place and our soccer programs on hold, it understandably feels overwhelming. That is why we at Girls Leading Girls, need to come together now more than ever to be here as a resource for our girls and our coaches. In times of adversity, just like on the soccer field, we tell our team to stay active in the game and connected to their teammates. In that spirit, our team of staff & coaches have created a virtual training program to keep our young athletes active and engaged with our community. We are raising money to support the girls in our free programs by providing them each with a soccer ball, shoes, and an electronic device over the next couple weeks so they can participate in our virtual program and stay connected to their coaches and peers during this unpredictable time. If you're able to DONATE please do so to help us provide resources and support to these 200+ girls living in disenfranchised areas in San Francisco and Oakland and our staff. Girls Leading Girls is a 501c3 nonprofit that trains 500+ girls ages 5-17 in leadership through soccer every year with all women coaches. Double your donation - ask your company if they match donations.
