This mid-life crisis thing must be hitting me hard because somehow I have found myself signed up for a half marathon. To be exact, I will be running the LA (Half) Marathon on March 24, 2019. It has been on my bucket list for many years, but for the last 9 nine years, I've been making/birthing/raising babies which made it a little difficult for me to do. But now, I have no more excuses.
What's great is that I get to run on behalf of a non-profit organization that is dear to my heart, the Asian American Drug Abuse Program (AADAP). Before I became a homeschooling mom of 3, I was a part of this organization that works tirelessly to help individuals and families affected by addiction. I've seen with my own eyes the lives that are changed through the work of AADAP.
I've set my fundraising goal at $2500. Not only would your donation provide much needed recovery services to men, women and youth, but it would surely give me a boost as I train to run the longest distance I have ever run in my life.
If you donate $10, $20, or $50, you can receive a Lucky Bag full of Sanrio goodies valued at more than your donation, while supplies last! See above flyer for details.
As an added bonus, if you donate any amount, I will pray for you on my long runs because quite honestly, I don't know what else to do with my brain during those runs.
Thanks, friends. I would be truly grateful for your support!
