Our Susan's MS Research Team is running the B.A.A. (Boston Athletic Association) 10k on Susan’s Team on June 23rd starting at the Boston Commons to raise money for Progressive MS Research at Brigham and Women's Hospital. 10,000 other runners will join us.
My law school classmate, and dearest friend, Susan Keith, has Progressive MS and cannot run. So our team is running for her. My friend Susan had an active physical, social and very successful professional life before MS. Susan is now confined to an electric wheelchair, with a joystick and a high-tech, robotic arm. In spite of MS, she is unstoppable in doing good for others, raising money for MS research, entertaining the many friends who love her, writing poems and letters, singing in her chorus group in Oregon, and supporting the rights of all. When she practiced law, she was at top of her field (and a Mt. Holyoke grad!), a phenomenal attorney. MS stopped that.
