Here's the deal
We've already started to get 200 girls away from child marriage. Their families, teachers, and community leaders are on board. But all of it disappears without Nipa, our Regional Director of Bangladesh.
Because of COVID, people have been discouraged to donate to less local causes, and all of the fundraising events to support Nipa were cancelled.
By the end of October, we need to reach our goal of $6000 to support Nipa's pay for the coming year. If we don't, we will lose her and all 200 girls will have nothing standing between them and child marriage.
What exactly does Nipa do?
At any given moment, Nipa is coordinating our logistics on the ground, moving mentors, contacting schools, and inspiring young girls. The list of what she does is too long for us to write, but believe us, what we do wouldn't be possible without her. She is the backbone of our program to end child marriage in Bangaldesh.
A lot of what she does sets girls up to be financially independent. We cannot teach young girls to be self sufficent if their role model cannot afford to put food on the table.
Then who are you?
We are Mai Soli Foundation. We work with Nipa and others to deliver a life changing program for young girls that gives them and their families a path away from child marriage. We use entreprenuershial thinking, leadership, confidence, financial literacy, and real world experiences to create value in young girls that their families and communities wouldn't otherwise see. Find out more about us on our website.
We can help Nipa, but only if you join us right now.
The clock is ticking — we only have until the end of October, but we know that if we all come together, we can make this happen. Donate today to make sure Nipa can keep ending child marriages, to keep giving girls the strength to reach their true potential.
