NICU Embrace Org., Is a 501c3, that supports families in the South Florida Areas. Founder Jarkesha Callaway, is a micro preemie mother, that had twin girls born via c-section in 2018 at 24 weeks gestational at Baptist Hosptial in Kendell, Florida. The girls were born 1 pound 7oz. & 1 pound 6oz.,Sapphire, the 1st twin placenta caught an infection which cause the girls to go into early delivery. Emerald, the 2nd twin placenta was well. Mom, saw a need to support families in the NICU due to her personal NICU experiences. Feeling like no one cared family members, friends and others just seemed to disappear at the most tramatic & needed time of her life. NICU Families, needs more attention than the world would even imagine says, M.Callaway. Our co-founder & I, formed this organization to support families that a weak but still wears a smile as if they're fine. We reach NICU moms daily via Facebook & Instagram, letting them know its okay, to be fragile & vulnerable while in the NICU its not an easy walk to push thorugh but especially alone.
NICU Embrace donations will support families with daily baby essentials, a babyshower for families that were unable to have a celebration and any support that will give the families a peace of mind.
