Support the Greater Danbury Irish Cultural Foundation!
The Greater Danbury Irish Cultural Foundation and the Greater Danbury Irish Cultural Center have been greatly impacted during the COVID-19 pandemic. As many people know, the Center has been closed since March 15th, suffering a significant loss of income during one of our most busy times of the year, the St. Patrick's Day time period. Since then, the center has remained closed per state and local health guidelines, and we continue to lose income from members and friends coming to the pub throughout the week and especially for dinners on the weekend. Our cultural mission has also been adversely affected by the cancellation of our GDICF-sponsored ceili dance, our monthly music sessions, and our TradFest of traditional acoustic Irish music.
We understand that this is a difficult time for many people financially, so if you are able to donate any amount, it is most appreciated! Consider donating the amount of what you would spend for dinner and drinks at the club a few nights a month!
The GDICF and GDICC leadership are working to handle continued expenses while working on other means of revenues while the Center is closed, but your help with a tax-free donation to the GDICF would be greatly appreciated during this difficult time period!
