It is easy to get overwhelmed by the problems facing us today.
The triplets of evil Martin Luther King Jr. warned us about (Racism, Materialism, and Militarism) plague us still.
Xenophobia, police brutality. mass Incarceration, ICE raids, growing rates of poverty...these aren't just political problems, they're spiritual problems.
We need prophetic voices now, more than ever.
That is why the Center for Prophetic Imagination exists. To cultivate prophetic witness.
But we can't do this without your support.
With the support of donors like you, our work weaves together three commitments:
▷ Rooting our offerings in contemplative formation.
▷ Cultivating prophetic witness through creative political action.
▷ Nurturing emerging leaders through experimental education.
In the coming year:
We are launching our 2 Year Certificate Program in Prophetic Spirituality. (This is a huge and exciting undertaking).
We'll continue to offer radical retreats that bring together deeper political analysis with the practice of Christian contemplation so that, together, we might find a path to healing and life.
We'll scheme wonderful Liturgical Direct Actions.
Building off of the success of our 2018 Conference, we'll begin to plan a smaller event for 2019 and look ahead to another conference for 2020.
Will you join us in our work of pursuing social justice rooted in spiritual depth?
