This year, the Friends of Brookline High School soccer are making a direct appeal for your support. Due to COVID-19, we were unable to host our major fundraising event the Spring 3v3 Tournament, leaving us without the funds normally used to support the BHS soccer program. In addition, we will not be able to host the Soccer Banquet fundraising event this fall. The funds raised through your generous contributions will primarily be used to pay the assistant coaches, with some funds also going to equipment costs. Now more than ever, we are so happy to support BHS soccer players in excelling at their sport and reaping the mental health, social, and physical benefits of soccer. So many parents have commented on the sense of joy and liveliness returning to their teenager as soccer began this summer. Normally, a family of 4 would contribute $140 by attending the fall banquet. A 3v3 team would contribute $120. If you are able, please consider at least matching the contribution your family would have made in prior years.
If 60 families contribute $200, we will reach our goal of $12,000. If your family has the means, we urge you to exceed this recommended contribution, as other members of our community may be experiencing strained finances and be unable to donate. Your generosity in reaching our fundraising goal will allow the BHS soccer program to thrive in these difficult times providin long term health and continuity of the program.
Please share this with family and friends to help us reach our fundraising goal.
Thank you for your generous support for Brookline High School Soccer.
