We’re using the power of Giving Tuesday to support Fusion’s small grants program, InFusion Community Grants!
InFusion amplifies community voices by making space for folks to heal their communities in ways that are unique to them. From game nights and film festivals to financial support for a grandmother who makes meals for the neighborhood, InFusion community grants program exemplifies the change it wishes to see. We provide support, funding, and fiscal sponsorship for resident-driven, resident-approved, and resident-led projects in East Baltimore neighborhoods.
In 2001, nearly 700 families were displaced from their homes in East Baltimore to make way for an 88-acre technology park. With the goal of helping to restore residential power, the Annie E. Casey Foundation designated funds to Fusion for a pilot small grants program in 2015. Our goals are to build resident access to resources, advance community led initiatives, and to build individual and organizational capacity for residents in C.A.R.E., McElderry Park and Middle East neighborhoods.
Your donations will help support our upcoming free capacity building workshops for the communities we serve including: Storytelling for Sustainability, Get Linkedin, InFusion Breakfast, Grant Writing, Creating your Own One Sheeter, and more! We want to grow our grant pool of funds to expand into other communities through an equitable grant making process so everyday people can do good work in their community.
Help us reach our goal by supporting InFusion today! Thank you Fusion Family!
