Help support Denver Rescue Mission's Youth during this time of need.
Today, we have a huge opportunity to support The STAR Transitional Program at our largest facility, The Crossing, where parents with children can live in an encouraging community until they are back on their feet, working diligently through the program while also managing full-time employment. Since the start of COVID-19, these families have been especially impacted as many parents are essential employees and their children are navigating remote education. This has changed the need for school supplies and equipment as they prepare for the next school year which will be impacted by this pandemic.
Here's where you can help: We are working to raise funds to ensure that these kids have the needed equipment to succeed in school and have fun, educational activities during their time of social distancing and remote learning. Even better, GoFundMe is matching donations dollar-for-dollar (up to $1,000!) to help support these families so any amount given here will be doubled! Check out the above video to see how our kids have been blessed through giving in previous years!
With your support, we can provide:
- Backpacks and school supplies
- Electronic equipment including tablets, Chrome Books, etc. to ensure that our kids can learn and connect.
- Games, craft supplies and educational tools for our Youth Room, which provides a safe space for children to learn, grow and build friendships.
Please help us hit our goal so that more kids can have access to necessary supplies and we can support our families at The Crossing
