Daisy Alliance is a nonpartisan peace organization that seeks to enhance global peace and eliminate the threat of nuclear weapons through grassroots education and advocacy. Daisy Alliance has a particular focus on building diplomacy skills and political will among youth and college students in the Southeast.

Daisy Alliance accomplishes its mission through grassroots education and advocacy initiatives. Daisy Alliance partners with universities in the Southeast to host annual simulation exercises centered on topics of nuclear disarmament and nonproliferation. Daisy Alliance has also developed student-led collegiate chapters to host events that educate and engage undergraduates on issues of peace and security. Daisy Alliance hopes to speaker series and other opportunities for students and community members to learn more about issues of peace and security.
The newest initiative from Daisy Alliance is a Nuclear Opinions Survey that can be administered to student, professional, and community groups as an educational and awareness tool. Daisy Alliance maintains active engagement with the Union of Concerned Scientists, the Congressional Black Caucus, and other national groups and individuals to advocate for global peace and nuclear disarmament. The goal of this grassroots advocacy and partnership is to contribute to the public debate by raising awareness about the threat posed by nuclear weapons, and to mobilize other grassroots efforts to support changes to nuclear policy.
