This Giving Tuesday, we ask you to join Sundara in our most exciting and ambitious plan to date: launching the Sundara Innovation Fund.
Sundara's Social Innovation Fund will empower local entrepreneurs across the world, allowing them to act as catalysts of change within their own communities.
In collaboration with the Archimedes Project, Sundara will support sustainable and income generating micro-enterprises that will improve local water, sanitation and health.
Since 2013, Sundara has worked across India, Myanmar and East Africa to recycle nearly one million bars of soap and redistribute them to communities in need, along with providing intensive hygiene education. Through our work we've been exposed to outstanding individuals with visions of change in their communities. These talented and brilliant people are unable to execute on their ideas due to lack of funds and resources. We know that talent is equally distributed, but unfortunately access to capital and resources is not. This is where the Sundara Social Innovation Fund comes in.
Lead by the Archimedes Project, we have built a custom curriculum for social entrepreneurs in select developing countries. Our collaboration with Archimedes Project gives us access to an organization whose expertise is helping develop social enterprises that leverage existing technology to tackle access to water, hygiene and sanitation. By providing critical seed funding, the Sundara Social Innovation Fund will allow these entrepreneurs to properly research and pilot their enterprises, and enable locally led solutions to these endemic problems.
With a gift of $200 or more, you'll be recognized as an official member of the Innovation Fund founding donor group, and will receive a custom thank you gift, made by a local social entrepreneur.
BONUS: All donations made on Giving Tuesday will be matched up to $25,000!
Thank you for joining us!
