As the sun makes its way back to Littleton Community Farm, we are looking forward to welcoming you back, along with the veggies and herbs that will feed us this summer. And this Summer Solstice there is an incredible opportunity to support Littleton Community Farm because any donation made before the
Solstice — June 20 — will be doubled!
Double your gift, double your impact.
The current COVID-19 crisis has made the disparities between incomes, races, job security and more abundantly clear. As a community farm, LCF was already in the position to grow and harvest fresh, healthy food for our community. Your gift will improve access to local, fresh, healthful food to our neighbors who are already experiencing food insecurity or who are at risk of experiencing food insecurity.
Your generosity today will support the acute need in our community by increasing the amount of harvested vegetables donated directly to Loaves and Fishes food pantry and Catholic Charities that serve families in Ayer, Devens, Dunstable, Groton, Littleton, Shirley, Lowell, and surrounding communities. Your generousity will allow LCF to grow and donate an additional 6,000 pounds of food – totaling 5,000 servings of vegetables – to these families in need. For 20 weeks from June through October, food will be donated weekly to the food pantries.
Today, your gift will build the organization and the growing operations to distribute increased pounds of food to those who desperately need it the most. LCF is the only nonprofit farm in Nashoba Valley that grows directly for hunger relief.
Donations to Littleton Community Farm are tax-deductible. We are a 501c3 tax-exempt organization. You can write to us at Littleton Community Farm PO.
