We really appreciate your donation to support this vision.
Here's what motivates us in this work!
We are inspired by a vision of reclaiming our seed sovereignty. We beleive it is the right of farmers and gardeners to grow, breed and share seeds. We believe that a healthy and just food system relies on the cultivation and sharing of open pollinated, diverse and local seed crops.
The selections we grow out are thoughtfully curated by our most experienced gardeners and are selected because they are well adapted to our region; and are productive, nutrtious or of historical value.
All seeds we are sharing this season were grown in our Seed Garden this past year. Volunteers tended the garden and then harvested, winnowed, cleaned and packaged all the seeds we're sharing. These seeds took months (and even years in the case of biennials such as onions, carrots, beets) of cultivation and caree.
We have packed and delivered over 3,700 packets of seeds already this spring!!
School Garden Network is our fiscal sponsor. All donations will go to Community Seed Exchange.
