Circles of Empowerment is a ceremonial circle at the Western Gate of the Central Coast of California. We have been doing Native American inspired women's ceremonies, sweat lodge ceremonies, vision quest, full moon ceremonies, and a variety of spiritual workshops since 1989. Our annual event, a women’s Long Dance, is celebrating its 31st year in September of 2021. After many years of collective prayer, we have been blessed to find a property in Santa Margarita, CA to call home. It is a safe space to come together in prayer, in a sacred way to bring forth change, transformation, growth, and healing for the members who come from all over the world. We have given our new home a name, ‘Suma Sil’.
Suma Sil means: “health and abundance of all that is in balance.‘’ This much prayed for land belongs to our community and it needs support. It is a wild 160 acres. It came with a well. With the sweat of our community members, we piped approximately 3000ft of pipe to a water tank on a hill for a gravity fed water spigots to the main area of our community gatherings. There is much more work to be done for our dreams of this sanctuary to be a place for community events and ceremonies. We see our community hoop growing for our community and the possibility of hosting events led by other spiritual communities. A restroom facility will pave the way for comfort for our elders, and community members. We are committed to an environmentally appropriate design. A restroom facility would consist of a building, plumbing, shower, toilets and septic tank. We call on our local community, our ceremony community, as well as our global community to help support this by means of time, knowledge (craftsmen donating skills & labor), physical labor, and many other ways to support this endeavor. But we also need funds for materials, permits, and professionals.
Help us build a Restroom facility on our wild property. Donate now, to fund the septic tank building, bathroom units, materials, permits, and professionals needed.
We are so appreciative and grateful to anyone who can help us raise the money for this structure which will allow us to host the people who are in need of ceremony in their lives.
