Leah was the last of litter, scared without her brothers and sisters. Deidre was an older girl. Was afraid to come into the house. Vacation just had her pups and needed a place to just become a dog. All have found their furever home.
Now we have Fuzzy. She just joined our household, after her puppies were stillborn...but she is starting to thrive with good food, new friends and bath and lots of love.
Labs and More knows the power of fostering, of taking a dog from the streets or from a high-kill shelter – the sick, the wounded, the unwanted and helping them transition to become wonderful family members. I know, as I not only fostered for them, I have adopted three of my own.
This October, they are having 5k Mutt Run/Walk to raise funds for all they do. As an all-volunteer organization, these funds means a lot.
Won’t you join me in helping raise much needed funds so we can save more dogs like Fuzzy (or Gigi, Vacation, Deidre, Karli or my own boy, Chato)?
