OUR VISION… Recovery for ALL who seek it
Suburban North Club – Profile The Suburban North Club, Inc is a nonprofit 501c3 founded in 1998. We are governed by a nine member, volunteer board of directors, to ensure a safe place for people to share in the gifts of recovery from alcoholism and substance use disorder. The SNC is financially self-supporting, covering our operating expenses through private donations from our members as well as an operating grant from the Hamilton County Council on Alcohol & Other Drugs.
OUR MISSION STATEMENT... To change lives through the power and promise of recovery by providing a safe environment to meet, socialize, support and recover together.
Open 7 days a week, 365 days a year, The Suburban North Club hosts 54 scheduled, 12-step recovery meetings per week with additional meetings, workshops, seminars and sober events throughout the year. In 2019, we again exceeded 50,000 attendees. All of these services are provided at no charge to those attending.
We also work with the Hamilton County Drug Court, Probation and Work Release programs. Again in 2019 we signed over 10,000 court cards documenting attendance at meetings which is a cost effective way for the County to minimize recidivism. But the need for recovery continues to grow and we are over capacity.
We have been working with members of the City Council and the new Mayoral administration, contractors and architects on our expansion project. Many of these professionals have graciously donated their time and expertise in this goal. We also went through an extensive EVS process using retired corporate professionals to develop a clear mission, vision and a plan of action to reach our goals.
We have raised 75% of the needed funds privately, purchased a lot, obtained zoning and completed the design phase of the project that will allow us to expand our recovery infrastructure and continue in our mission for years to come. We are asking for your tax deductible contribution to make this possible.
Thank you in advance
